Our Cancellation Policy

Trek Karo > Cancellation Policy

The initial booking amount is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, including cancellations made by the participant for personal, medical, or unforeseen reasons.
Cancellation 30 days Prior to the trek — Receive a full refund in the form of a Trek Karo India coupon, or opt for a monetary refund with a 15% cancellation fee.
Cancellation between 30 and 20 days prior to the trek — Get 80% of the trek fee as a Trek Karo India coupon, or a monetary refund with 50% cancellation charges.
Cancellation less than 20 days before the trek — No monetary refund will be provided, but you will receive 20% of the trek fee in a Trek Karo India coupon (applicable only if full payment was made).
Ticket transfer to the next batch — — If requested at least 10 days before the trip, this will incur a 20% surcharge.
No refund for late arrival — If you fail to arrive on time, no refund will be provided.
Illness or COVID-19 related cancellations — — No refund or transfer will be available. However, you may find a replacement for your booking.

Cancellation due to illness or COVID — No refund is available; finding a replacement for your spot is recommended.

Trek insurance, train cancellation fees, and agent charges are non-refundable if cancelled within the last 6 days before the trek/trip, in addition to standard cancellation charges.
For New Year and Christmas events, no refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 15 days of the departure date.

You will receive an email confirmation within 24-48 hours of your request.
The cancellation policy will be effective from the date of your email.
Refunds will be processed within 2-5 working days.
We do not entertain cancellation queries over the phone; all communication must be via email.

In the rare event of cancellation due to natural calamities, political unrest, or government orders, no refund will be provided once the trip has commenced.
If the trip is cancelled before departure, a full refund will be issued, excluding any train or bus cancellation fees.
For treks or backpacking trips cancelled due to insufficient participation, you can either shift to another event or receive a full refund.
In case of a medical emergency, COVID-related issues, or other emergencies, the refund policy will follow the same terms as our regular cancellation policy.
If the trip is cancelled due to transportation issues, we will attempt to make alternate arrangements. Refunds, if applicable, will be based on the expenses incurred and bookings made.
