1. Acceptance of Terms:

When you book a trek with us, you agree to follow these Terms & Conditions. They explain how we work together and what to expect from our services.

2. ID Verification:

All participants must present valid government-issued identification before boarding. Failure to provide a valid ID will result in denial of boarding without a refund.

3. Property Care:

Participants are responsible for maintaining the quality of accommodations and their surroundings. This includes adhering to responsible tourism practices and ensuring cleanliness in all shared spaces.

4. Personal Belongings:

Participants are solely responsible for their personal belongings, including luggage and valuables. Trek Karo India is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to items during the trip, whether in transit or at accommodations.

5. Accommodations:

In remote areas, don't expect luxury hotels. Facilities like 24/7 electricity, hot water, and Wi-Fi may not be available.

6. Room Categories:

All our packages include standard rooms, regardless of the hotel type. If you want a better room, you’ll have to pay extra at the hotel, if available.

7. Similar Accommodations:

If you're part of a large group, we might have to book multiple hotels. Rooms in different hotels may not be exactly the same, but we will try our best.

8. Meal Plans:

Meals are usually set menus or buffets. Snacks, drinks, and desserts might not be included, so you may need to buy those separately.

9. Participation in Activities and Safety:

All adventure activities and treks are undertaken at the participant's own risk. Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by the trek leaders. Trek Karo India is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages sustained during these activities.

10. Travel Insurance and Medical Expenses:

Trek Karo India is not responsible for any accidents, mishaps, or medical expenses during the trip. We strongly advise all participants to have travel insurance that covers health, accidents, and other risks. Any additional costs due to medical emergencies are the participant's responsibility.

11. Misconduct and Termination of Participation:

Trek Karo India has a zero-tolerance policy for misconduct, disturbances, or inappropriate behavior towards team members, fellow trekkers, or locals. Participants may be removed from the trip for such behavior at their own expense. No refunds will be given, and Trek Karo India will not cover the cost of further travel arrangements.

12. Drugs and Narcotics:

Trek Karo India does not encourage or provide any illegal drugs or substances. Any participant involved in such activities does so at their own risk. Trek Karo India will not be held responsible for any legal or personal consequences.

13. Missed Transfers and Punctuality:

Trek Karo India is not responsible for missed transfers, buses, or itinerary elements due to participant negligence. It is the participant's responsibility to adhere to the scheduled timeline. No refunds will be provided for missed activities due to tardiness.

14. Use of Photos/Videos:

Trek Karo India reserves the right to use any photos or videos taken during the trip for promotional purposes across media platforms. Digital content created during the trip is the property of Trek Karo India.

15. Unforeseen Circumstances:

Trek Karo India is not responsible for delays, changes, or cancellations due to natural disasters, political unrest, or other unforeseen events. Participants are responsible for any additional costs incurred as a result of these disruptions.

16. Payment Policy:

Full payment for the trip must be made before the trip begins. If the payment is not received, the trip may be cancelled, and the seat will be allotted to another participant.

17. Transfer of Bookings:

Bookings are non-transferable. Only the names confirmed at the time of booking will be allowed to participate in the trip.

18. Discount Changes:

Discounts or offers can be altered or withdrawn at any time without prior notice.

19. Non-Refundable Inclusions:

No refunds will be issued for any trip inclusions that participants do not utilize.

20. Punctuality:

Participants must report to the pickup point at least 30 minutes before departure. Missing the scheduled departure time will result in no refunds, and we will make two courtesy calls before departure.

21. Alcohol and Smoking:

The consumption of alcohol and smoking are strictly prohibited during the trip. Trek Karo India reserves the right to remove participants found violating this policy, with no refunds provided.

22. Liability for Accidents and Injuries:

Trek Karo India and its agents are not liable for any accidents, injuries, or deaths that occur during the trip due to negligence or external factors.

23. Itinerary Changes Due to Weather or Road Conditions:

Trek Karo India reserves the right to alter the itinerary in the interest of participant safety due to unforeseen weather or road conditions.

24. Emergency Evacuations:

In the case of a medical emergency, any evacuation or emergency transportation costs will be borne by the participant or their family.

25. Borrowing Money:

Trek Karo India is not responsible for any financial transactions or borrowing of money between participants. Any such transactions are the sole responsibility of the individuals involved.

26. Dispute Resolution:

Any disputes arising out of the trip will be resolved according to the laws of India, and the jurisdiction will be the city where Trek Karo India is registered.

27. Misconduct:

We do not tolerate any misconduct or disturbance towards fellow participants, trip leaders, or local people. If anyone engages in such behaviour, they may be removed from the trip at their own cost, and no refunds will be provided.

28. Tour Discontinuation:

If you need to leave the tour due to illness or loss of documents, no refunds will be provided for unused services.

29. Volvo Bus Arrangements:

The Volvo bus service from Base Location is provided by a third party. While replacements are arranged in case of breakdowns, there may be delays.

30. Triple Sharing Rooms:

In our triple-sharing accommodations, we provide an extra mattress for the third guest instead of a full bed. This arrangement is designed to ensure comfort for all participants while keeping our trips budget-friendly.

Trip Delays and Connecting Transport Failure Policies

  • Best Efforts for Travel Arrangements: We design our travel plans and transportation based on years of experience and expertise to provide the best possible service.
  • Unforeseen Transportation Issues: Despite careful planning, there are times when transportation failures may occur. These may include, but are not limited to:(Vehicle breakdowns, Traffic congestion, Road closures or diversions, Weather-related delays, Unavailability of scheduled transportation)
  • No Liability for Delays: Trek Karo India cannot be held responsible for delays or transportation failures caused by circumstances beyond our control.
  • Alternate Arrangements: In case of a failure in the planned transportation, we will make every effort to arrange alternative travel options to minimize disruption to your journey.
  • No refund for late arrival — If you fail to arrive on time, no refund will be provided.
  • Participant Responsibility for Costs: While we assist in organizing alternate transportation, the cost of such alternative arrangements will be borne by the participant.
  • Communication During Delays: In the event of a delay, participants will be informed promptly, and updates will be provided to ensure clarity on the next steps.
  • Planning Buffer Time: We advise all participants to account for possible delays in their schedules, especially for connecting transport or onward journeys.
